Patch together, in real time
Turn VCV Rack 2 into a real-time collborative studio!
Everyone edits the same patch.
Knobs, sliders, cables, modules added and deleted — every change lands in everyone's rack as it happens.
See who's in the rack, and where.
Every cursor is labeled and live. Pin an emoji to yours, or drop a reaction right where something happened.
Presence is separate from editing rights — spectators are visible too.
Draw on the rack.
Circle a module, underline a knob, sketch an idea. Strokes fade on their own.
Know where everyone is, even off-screen.
When a peer leaves your view, an arrow hugs the edge and points at them until they're back.
Follow someone's view.
Your camera tracks theirs — every pan and zoom — while your own cursor stays free.
A blip doesn't end the session.
The host's patch is the source of truth. Joiners get a full snapshot; a dropped connection reconnects and re-syncs.

Patch Together is distributed directly — it is not on the official VCV Library. The module appears under the Patch Together brand after a restart.
2 Then create an account
A small online lobby finds sessions and verifies identities. You register once and stay logged in between sessions.
- Add the Patch Together module to your rack, and on the login screen click Register.
- Enter a nickname, email, and password, then verify your email via the link you're sent.
- Back in the module, log in — you're ready to host or join a session.
New sending domain, so the first email sometimes lands in spam — there's a Resend button if you need it.
